This is a series of paintings that I'm currently working on. Inspired by the imagery of Varsha M Dharan (instagram.com/maakalidescope), each painting in the series captures a vicariously enjoyed moment.

Fragrant Spices, Fruits and Flowers,
Vibrant Textiles, crafts and tchotchkes
Curious crowds, cows and rickshaws,
Thronging along in a heady jumble!
Raucous laughter here, heated haggling there.
Infectious loud music spilling everywhere.
Maybe a bit much, and too in your face...
But it's a delightful riot - I love this place!
